Indications:

Monotherapy with topotecan is indicated:

patients with metastatic ovarian cancer after the first line of chemotherapy or further therapy, if a positive effect has not been achieved;

• patients with recurrent small cell lung cancer who cannot be recommended for second-line chemotherapy.

Topotecan in combination with cisplatin is indicated in patients with recurrent cervical cancer after radiation therapy, as well as in patients with stage IV-B. To confirm treatment with this combination in previously treated cisplatin patients, an evaluation of the cisplatin-free treatment interval should be performed.
