Treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism (HPT) in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) who are on dialysis.

PTH-30 may be given as part of combination therapy that includes phosphate and/or vitamin D sterol binders (see Pharmacological section).

Reducing hypercalcemia in patients with:

parathyroid carcinoma.

primary HPT, when parathyroidectomy is indicated in order to reduce the level of calcium in the blood serum (in accordance with recognized treatment regimens), but, according to the patient's condition, parathyroidectomy is impossible or contraindicated.
